PULSE® musician earplugs reduce volume evenly across the frequency spectrum. This results in a far more “natural” listening experience that other types of earplugs. These earplugs are perfect for listening to loud music whether you’re in the audience or on stage. These high-fidelity musician earplugs are a custom product, made specifically for each user. 

Musicians practice and perform in a variety of settings. They’re often exposed to high levels of sound for long periods of time. Depending on the sound levels of a rehearsal or performance, a musician may require varying amounts of protection.

Available Interchangeable Filters are available in the following levels:

• 10dB
• 15db
• 25dB
• 30dB

The musician ear plugs with filters, or buttons, have a diaphragm which functions as an acoustic compliance, while the volume of air in the sound bore of the custom ear-mold acts as an acoustic mass. The combination of the two produces a resonance at approximately 2700 Hz (as in the normal ear), which results in smooth, flat attenuation.

Etymotic Filters & Reduction Levels

• ER-9 Provides flat 9 dB sound reduction through the mid range and 15 dB in the highs (Best for vocals, keyboard, acoustic)
• ER-15 Provides uniform 15 dB sound reduction across frequencies (A great all around musician earplug filter)
• ER-25 Provides 25 dB relatively flat sound reduction across frequencies (Best for drums, brass, and loud instruments)
